Golden Gate

The Bay Area icon on a very cold late December morning. A warm orange glow surrounds the sleeping city, and complements the bridge nicely . This image was taken about an hour before sunrise to take advantage of the soft light shinning up at the horizon. Golden Gate bridge is one the most photographed location in the US, but I never get tired of visiting and viewing it from different angles. Natural Bridges

First night out with my 15mm IRIS manual focus. Went out to shoot the milky way, but ended up with fog and light from near by homes on the cliffs.

Almaden Lake Fall

Fall colors in Almaden Lake San Jose- who says BA doesn't have a nice fall? This weekend we had nice cloudy skies. My favorite for capturing sunsets. This is a 78 sec. exposure (using a neutral density filter) to get the clear reflections and creamy skies. :-)
